I logged onto Facebook the other day and immediately started to look who was online and available to chat. I was greeted by a message from the system informing me that Facebook Chat had been updated and now I would only be able to see the people whom i interacted with the most. This was quite confusing to me.

Why would Facebook do this? It doesn't make any sense.

What's even stranger is that people who now show up as available to chat with are not necessarily people I interact with at all!

There had to be a way to fix it!

I don't know about you, but I'm getting tired of all these little tweaks and adjustments Facebook is making. 

I discovered that for all Facebook users the popup chat function is still available. And it will allow you to see all of your friends who are online and available to chat with. 

Here's how it works

Step 1: Log into Facebook 

Step 2: Open up this url - http://www.facebook.com/presence/popout.php

This will allow you to view your full Facebook chat list. 

{Note} You'll want to open up this link in a seperate window from your facebook login as all you will be able to see in the page is the facebook chat component.
